Once your application has been received, you will receive an email from the SDSU Financial Aid Office directing you to log in to my.SDSU to check the status of your application. SDSU will receive your information electronically. If you are eligible to complete the FAFSA, be sure to use the IRS data retrieval option when completing your FAFSA to reduce errors and list SDSU's federal school code (001151) on your FAFSA. If you haven't done so already, submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Please visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for more information on the different types of aid. SDSU provides federal and state financial aid programs (grants, part-time jobs, and student loans), as well as private alternative loans and a variety of scholarships for eligible students. Other Coursework: if you have any other coursework in progress at the time of admission, you are required to provide a final official transcript to Graduate Admissions as soon as possible, but no later than September 30.Failure to submit official transcripts and proof of degree will result in a registration hold being placed on your record, which will prevent you from registering for the following term. Unofficial International Documents: if you were admitted with unofficial transcripts and proof of degree, you are required to provide official documents to Graduate Admissions as soon as possible, but no later than September 30. If you do not complete the bachelor's degree prior to enrolling, you are not eligible for admission. Failure to submit the final transcript with proof of degree will result in a registration hold being placed on you record, which will prevent you from registering for the following term. A final official transcript with proof of degree must be provided to Graduate Admissions as soon as possible, but no later than September 30. Degree in Progress: if your bachelor's degree was in progress as the time of admission, you are required to complete the degree prior to enrolling in your first semester at SDSU.Please check my.SDSU for the status of your transcripts. Refer to the Graduate Programs web page and select your type of program to access contact information for your department.In these cases, admitted students must complete both requirements (submit the online Intent to Enroll and pay the nonrefundable deposit in my.SDSU and notify the department) to officially accept the offer of admission. Some programs may require admitted students to notify them that they are attending.Additionally, please reach out to the SDSU Computing Hub (the Hub) if you are experiencing difficulties with your account. Use the Finalize Your Enrollment Guide to learn how to accept your offer of admission and pay your nonrefundable deposit in my.SDSU. If you do not submit your Intent to Enroll in my.SDSU by the deadline, it will be assumed that you do not plan to attend SDSU and your offer of admission will be canceled. The $400 deposit will apply toward your fall basic tuition and fees. Officially accept your offer of admission by submitting the online Intent to Enroll and paying the $400 nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit by the deadline indicated in my.SDSU.
